Stray Souls: Stolen Memories (Bigfishgames.com)

A young wife and mother goes to a creepy town to save her husband and daughter.  The only guide she has is a doll that needs to be restored to full power in order to defeat the evil of the town she explores.

This plot is exactly like the first one except for the addition of a daughter and having to restore the doll to full power with a sword, shield and cape.  In other words, not a whole lot to say about it.

The game play is exactly the same as the first one.  You go from location to location collecting objects to advance through the story.  If you’re stuck, use a hint.  You also can buy additional footage that allows you to see how the whole mess started in the first place.

This game is creepy and addictive.   I give it 6 out of 10; not a bad waste of your time.

Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story (Bigfishgames.com)

When a young woman’s husband goes missing, she sets out to a creepy town to find him.  Her only guide is a talking doll who was mailed to her along with a dollhouse.

The storyline is slowly revealed to you in the form of dolls that you place in a dollhouse as you continue the game.  You also get closer and closer to finding the main character’s husband and a few other people help you along the way.

The game is your standard hidden object with items you add to your inventory.  You will have to backtrack to complete the game.  If you’re stuck, you can use a hint.  Oh, and did I mention that the Collector’s Edition comes with extra footage that you can use to fully understand how this mess all happened?

This game is suspenseful and addictive.  I give it 8 out of 10; not a bad waste of your time.
